– 04C – Choka, isn’t it? (Invisible War)

Days In The Blackberries Field R67

The tears fell inside.
Old words melt and disappear
leaving the soul clean.
And my will to change the world
wasn’t strong enough
to fight them along the way.
The gummy masks still
stare at my uncovered face.
I recognize them
by the lack of expressions.
My raised hands cover the eyes.

  1. This reminded me a lot of a 4 line verse, poem, that ends with saying “A dry tear is the one that hurts the most.”
Hope you are enjoying the November Sun 🙂
