16 Dec

adorned with crystals
shimmering in the morning sun
winter grasses
okićena kristalima
svetluca na jutarnjem suncu
zimska trava

wilted chrysanthemums
beside a marble bed
she sleeps, forgotten
uvele hrizanteme
pored mermernog kreveta
ona spava, zaboravljena

Your verses remind me of Sleeping Beauty.
    Very nice indeed.
Thank you for sharing them in (is it) Croatian (as google suggests?).

I am so sorry for the late reply and thank you. It is Serbian, very similar.

I especially like the austere beauty of the 2nd haiku – so chilly and still.

To be honest, I had a picture of a grave in my mind. But, words usually have many meanings 🙂

Oh I saw a tomb… but peaceful rather than gloomy 😉
