10401 – joy of living

04 Jan

Earlier today, on my short walk to the store, I decided to take a few photos of the first snow. I do that every year and all of them almost look the same, but I like to go back in time and remember everything that marked those periods of my life.

Few hours later, I got a text message from my neighbor with a sentence that went like this: “To those who enjoy life, even a chirping of the sparrows is music”.

I think it’s obvious why I wasn’t surprised when I saw a title of today’s task. Another proof for all unbelievers that coincidences don’t exist!

It’s lovely. And I love the little story setting the tone for this haiku. Awesome.

I wouldn’t mind a neighbour like that – it would make for great ‘over the fence’ conversations 🙂
